Hostasaurus.Com is a reseller of PayPal's Payflow Pro payment gateway system (formerly Verisign Payflow Pro). This payment gateway integrates very well with our hosting plans for those customers wishing to have real-time credit card authorization and/or payment processing. We chose to resell the PayPal Payflow Pro system exclusively after years of experience with numerous gateways and finding this one to be the most reliable and best supported for our customers. Payflow Pro is not a merchant account, only a gateway service provided by PayPal that allows transactions to pass from your store to your merchant account.
You are not required to use Payflow Pro as your gateway to host with us. We are offering Payflow as an additional service to our hosting plans for your convenience. Payflow Pro is a supported gateway for several shopping carts, including OSCommerce, Miva Merchant, ZenCart, and X-Cart, all of which are supported on our hosting plans. 1. Basic Fraud Protection (add $20/month, $0.05 per transaction):
Adds the following options:
- Unusual Order Filters - High dollar size filter, High item number filter, Shipping/billing mismatch filter
- High Risk Payment Filters - AVS failure filter, CSC/CVV failure filter
- High Risk Address Filters - High risk zip code filter, Freight forwarder filter
2. Recurring Billing (add $30/month):
Adds the following options:
- Allows you to charge your customers on a recurring basis, automatically.
Both the Basic Fraud Protection and Recurring Billing must be configured though your PayPal web control panel.
These additional options are not adjustible via your shopping cart's administration page.
